Welcome to your new classroom! My name is Christina Valladares and I will be teaching 8th grade American History, T.V. Production, or 6th grade Language Arts. regardless or which classroom you belong to, my classroom rules and procedures apply to all. What you put into my classroom will determine what you will gain from it. I look forward to a productive and exciting 2012 school year.
About the teacher:
I am a Miami native and I can 't think of a better place to live. One of the many reasons I enjoy living in Miami is because I love the ocean. I have been working as a teacher in Miami for five years (a job that I enjoy and care about greatly). I graduated from Florida International University with a B.A. in English. However, Language Arts is just one of the many subjects I enjoy teaching. In addition to being a teacher, I am also a writer. I have written for local publications such as the Miami Herald, Miami New Times, and Newdmagazine. My hobbies include snorkling, kayaking, traveling, kickboxing and sprending time with my family and friends.
